A Little about the Huey and Big Daddy >>>

Who is Keith "Huey" Schutte >>>
Keith Schutte, the self-proclaimed guru of area dirt track racing, has been a part of of the Ark-La-Tex racing scene since the mid-70's. Given the name "Huey" by his friends and family because of his huge cranium ( or as he calls it genius), Huey has enjoyed the racing experience both from behind the wheel in both the street stock and modified divisions and from the stands as the current voice of 67 Speedway.
Hueys downfall of sorts was a chance encounter with Robert "Big Daddy" Rankin at 67 Speedway. The Big Daddy, after a few adult beverages slurred out "I got a racing show, wanna be on it?" Huey, not believing him, called his bluff. The rest is Texarkana Radio History.

Who is Robert "Big Daddy" Rankin >>>
Big Daddy is the areas biggest race fan... Literally! Tipping the scales at a whopping 400+ pounds. His motto is: "If he could fit in the car he would be driving!"
Big Daddy grew up at the old Speedbowl Raceway in Leary and was hooked on stock car racing instantly!
His Radio career started 4 years ago when a highly intelligent scout looking for new talent in the area decided to do a local racing show that would be hosted by someone with vast racing knowledge on everything from NASCAR to Go-Kart. After many months of searching high and low and much consideration there was noone to be found so Big Daddy got the job.
And today we now have Up 2 Speed with Huey and Big Daddy. Rumor has it that the name was chosen by Huey and that Big Daddy said, "you can name it, but while you are up bring me another cold one." I think Big Daddy Won!
